This version of the S01 is homologated and registered as a vehicle in the L3e category, meaning it is legally equivalent to a 125cc motorcycle. Its electric motor offers a nominal power of around 7.5 kW (with peaks of up to 11.5 kW), complying with the legal limit of ≤ 11 kW for this category. In addition, it offers performance similar to a 125cc combustion engine: it accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in approximately 3.6 s and reaches a top speed of 110 km/h.
This version of the Silence S01 is homologated in the L1e category, which legally equates it to a 50cc motorcycle. This is because its motor is adjusted not to exceed 4 kW of nominal power and to reach a maximum speed of 45 km/h, accelerating from 0-45 km/h in 3.9 seconds, limits established for the L1e category and equivalent to those of a 50cc moped.
You can ride the S01 (L3e version) with an A1 license or with a B license if you have more than 3 years of experience, and the S01 (L1e version) with an AM or B permit.
The S01 is designed with high-performance standard features that distinguish it from other electric scooters: a homologated range of 133km and acceleration from 0-50km/h in 3.6 seconds. It also has three driving modes and reverse gear, full LED lighting and attractive extras such as connectivity via SIM – APP via mobile for 3 years free with geolocation functionalities, remote scooter opening and status reports, and free insurance for one year. *In purchases made during the year 2020.
With a Silence electric motorcycle, which only consumes electricity and has reduced maintenance to tires and brakes, we can save a total of about 255 euros annually every 5,000km.
For every 100 km traveled, about 5.84 kWh are consumed. Considering that the average price in the off-peak tariff is €0.12/kWh; a Silence electric motorcycle will spend €0.70 per 100 km traveled. In contrast, a combustion motorcycle with the same characteristics consumes 4 liters per 100 km, with gasoline at an average of €1.45/l, you would spend €5.80 every 100 km.
