Silence showcases its range of vehicles and services at “Automobile Barcelona”

Today, Silence – ACCIONA’s electric vehicle manufacturer – presented its range of products and services at Automobile Barcelona, Europe’s leading annual automotive trade fair. This year, Silence is introducing its first electric car, the S04, which will be available in the coming months.

This two-seater vehicle – the company’s first electric nano-car – opens the door to the urban mobility of the future, as it is comfortable, safe, sustainable and, additionally, easy to park thanks to its compact dimensions.

In addition to the S04, Silence’s electric scooter models will also be on display at the stand: the S01 electric scooter (top seller in its segment in Europe), the S01+ (premium version with best-in-class features and equipment), and the S02 (budget scooter with a more basic design).

REMOVABLE BATTERY: THE HEART OF THE SILENCE ECOSYSTEM

All of Silence’s vehicles are powered by the same removable battery, which features wheels and a handle for convenient and safe transport, like a trolley. In addition to charging the batteries directly on the vehicle, this model also allows them to be easily removed and charged using any conventional power point.

These removable batteries made it possible to create the Battery Stations, battery swapping stations where users can swap their discharged battery for a fully charged one in only 30 seconds.

With this system, Silence offers customers the possibility of purchasing a scooter without a battery and signing up for a monthly subscription service, saving up to 40% on the price of purchasing the vehicle.

The Battery Station will be one of Silence’s highlights at the trade fair. Visitors will be challenged to swap a battery in different sessions to demonstrate the ease of use and swiftness of the battery swapping system.

Silence will showcase its products at a stand in Automobile Barcelona until Sunday, 21 May. In addition, the MOTOh! trade fair will be held between today and 14 May, where visitors can take Silence’s electric scooters for a test drive.
